So after a weekend of complete alcoholism I decided that I wouldn't drink for the rest of the week following Monday afternoon's impromptu visit to the pub.

This decison didn't even make it to the 48hour mark cos I've been to the pub after work and am now sat here with a can of Carlsberg!

I'm not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings!

Did have a bit of a mid beer crisis today though, most conversations me, Will and mum get into at the moment seem to end up in arguments, the latest being in the car on the way home from work.

I've been sat around most of the night thinking..... You're fucking 30, grow up!

So on that note I will go and spontaneously combust and then have another beer!

Somewhere in the last 5 days I think I turned 30 but everything is a bit of a blur!

I can't work out if I'm too tired to sleep or still pissed!

Thank god I booked Monday off!

Bloody fantastic film!!

Lots of twists and turns, good performances from Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman and Stephen Fry, and some good exsplosions! ;-)

England men and women both qualified for the hockey semi finals at the Commonwealth games, I don't think I'll be getting up to watch though not after what happened last time ;-)

It's 5am WTF am I doing up?

It's the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, OZ

Seeing as the BBC hardly show any of the hockey when they put their programmes out during the day I'm having to get up at some un-godly hour to watch England v New Zealand.
It's bloody annoying, our girls trounce Barbados 10-0 and Scotland 5-0 and I haven't seen any of the goals cos they don't show em!
So anyway, we're currently 1-0 down which is a bummer cos whoever wins will avoid the Aussie's in the semi final as both England and New Zealand have already qualified from their group.
Oh bugger it the bloody Kiwi's have scored again! So thats 2-0, maybe I shouldn't have got up after all!

Off to see Kubb tonight as they're playing in Oxford, still not sure about them, liked a few trax off their debut album but some of it is a bit samey.

England have a penalty corner........ and they've messed it up!

TirckyVee is sat on the windowsil waiting for the birds to wake up, I swear they take the piss by flying straight for the window and then veering off at the last minute, the cat has nearly fallen off several times watching them!
Now she's making some kind of noise behind the curtains which means the birds must've woke up early this morning.

Kiwi's have just scored again so that's 3-0! we'll just have to beat the Aussie's in their own back garden to get to the final.

4-0, we're falling appart!

Seem to have a problem with my Sony Ericsson although it could possibly be a PC problem, none of the recent pix I've took will work on the PC, says its not a specfied file format yet they're all jpgs, stupid bloody machine! (applies to both!)

England have 13mins to score 4 goals, 5 infact cos we need to win.

So while I've been away getting some lemon tea and fruit toast we still haven't scored, theres 5 mins left so it looks like we're playing the Aussie's in the semi's BUGGER!
Ahwell, you gotta beat the best to be the best ;-) I wonder what stupid time of the morning that will be on?! or if they'll even bother showing highlights. I should hope that if we do manange to beat the Aussie's it would get more than just a passing mention!

Don't like the England kit much, it's all a bit figure-hugging for my liking ;-)

So now its the table tennis on and I've lost intrest, I bet theres table tennis fans out there thinking 'Bloody BBC never show any of this in the day so I have to get up at some un-godly hour to watch it'

Just found out our hockey blokes lost 5-1 to the Aussie men, BUGGER again!

So, 'Lil is no more :-( she passed away yesterday in her sleep but we are all gutted.
It is probably better she did go that way as she had to go back to the vets this week and things weren't looking good for her.

I will miss you Lilly Lil!!!

I can't really say much more, we lit a candle in the garden tonight, she's buried under the apple tree cos she liked it there.

War Of Attrition won the Gold Cup yesterday and I had 50p each way on it, I got the grand sum of £5.70! ;-)

Chuffin head hurts this morning, went to a party last night and drank too much Kronebourg 1664.

Useless Donkeys!

Horse racing, not really my thing but sometimes its a laugh to have a flutter.

Well this week has been Cheltenham Festival and the boss is into his horse racing so I kinda get carried away with it all.

My theory is: Find a name I like and back it, wether its odds on favourite or 1000-1 outsider ;-)

My horses this week have been:

I've been put fairly low bets on like 50p - £1 cos I'm too chicken to put large amounts on and basicaly haven't got big amounts of cash to splash on donkeys! ;-)

Yesterday I put a bet on a horse caled 'You're Special' (I will tell you the reason in a moment) which ran in the 4.40pm race, so I get home not even thinking about it cos I had other things on my mind and stuff to sort out.

I check out the 5.20pm race result a little later, no idea why but I was convinced that my horse was in that race!

Well obviously couldn't find my "useless donkey" there!

Get into work this morning and I'm relaying my "useless donkeys" to my boss and he said 'You're Special' won! well he should know he was there LOL!

I put 50p each way <---- last of the big spenders, at odds of 33/1 so picked up a nice little sum of roughly £22 WOO HOO! beer money for the weekend ;-)

Only reason I didn't chuck the betting slip away was cos I had backed the 'Darkness' £1 each way and I was due back the stake cos it came in 3rd so maybe the 'Darkness' wasn't such a useless donkey after all cos if it hadn't have been for him I would've lost it all cos I'dve chucked the slip away in disgust ROFLOL!

Lets hear it for the USELESS DONKEYS! ;-)

So anyway...the 'You're Special' story:

A long time ago in a club far far away..... ;-)

Me and some hockey mates all went to a school disco ( you know the sort, where you get dressed up in all your old school gear for a laugh)

So there I am, looking good!! ;-) bunches, school tie, hockey skirt, freckles etc and worst shoes complete with knee high socks!

Basicaly to cut a long story short, someone said "Vixzter you look like a special needs child" ( i think it was the knee high socks!) and thats it, I've been called 'special', 'specialness' or 'spesh' ever since by certain factions of my mates who just can't forget that evening ;-)

What else is new?

Definatley making the Rox do up in London on 1st April now, decided I couldn't be arsed to wait for other plans to transpire and so have committed myself to that now, should be a laugh and I just found out one of my mates is going too and we didn't know each other were going.

WATCH OUT LONDON!

Now all I gotta do is find a decent priced hotel for the saturday night.

Birthday plans are coming together also.

The plan is to get off the coach at Victoria Coach Station, walk in the general direction on the Houses Of Parliment cos I wanna see Big Ben go ding dong ;-) and then onwards along the river towrds the Millenium Bridge (right past that bloody London Eye thing sticking my 2 fingers up at it!) then over the 'wobbly' bridge and into the Tate Modern where I'm gonna show my mates my favourite picture ever 'Wham' by Roy Lichtenstein and see a bit of culture.

Of course all this includes pubs and eateries along the way depending on what we find!

What's new.........

Not alot really.

Spent most of the day discussing plans for my 30th birthday, the idea is we go to London and well ................. no idea what the hell will happen next but I'm sure it will involve pubs and food! ;-) maybe some shopping and even some sight seeing but that might be thru blurred vision! and NO LONDON EYE! I'm not going on that bloody thing even if I am pissed!

Went to a bar after work, there's a new complex (well its not that new apprently I just never knew it was being built!) in Oxford built around the old prison site, it's basicaly a few posh bars, a few resturants and a hotel but it all looks ye olde worlde cos the old prison is all built in ye olde worlde stone and stuff (before they turned it into a complex it was used in a few films cos it looked the part).
So anyway have just spent the best part of the last 3 hours in whats called the Ha Ha bar cos they have happy hour from 3-7pm and serve 2 pints jugs of cocktails for £5! BARGAIN ;-)
Me and my mate Frankie tried 4 jugs worth ...... all sorts ......... ended with a jug of Long Island Iced Tea.

Oh and got another New Jedi Order book thru the post today.

So anyway, weekend over and its Sunday night again!
Good news on the hockey injury front, had physio on Friday and I've got a running programme to start :-) so Tuesday I will atleast be at hockey training even if it is just to use the pitch for some light jogging!
Did a bit today, just some very slow jogging, the programme is a 12 day thing but I've gotta start by doing the first 6 days and see how it goes so.....fingers crossed! doubt I will be back for end of season :-( but I might atleast make summer league which is always a laugh!

I spent most of it indoors on the net feeling sorry for myself as I was feeling rough.

Anyway, am building my New Jedi Order book collection back up, at the time I was just reading one book then selling it on ebay so that I could buy the next book, good idea at the time only now I wanna build that book collection back up cos there are some cool scraps in them ;-) plus I have the room now to keep them (well I don't have a book shelf yet but I'm working on that)

Brought a cordless keyboard and mouse today which means if I want I can be a total lazy arse ;-) need to buy a new pc chair now though cos my old one has just died dramaticaly in only a way that an old pc chair could die, so currently sat infront of pc on a dining room fold away chair that isn't designed for being a lazy arse in!

So having a Terrorvision moment, totaly pissed off cos there's supposed to be a live dvd of their gig last April in London, its had a release date thats kept changing for the last 8 months!! if I didn't know better I would think they were still with EMI! its now due to be released on 27th of March, other release dates include.....27th Feb 2006, 27th Jan 2006 ........etc

On a lighter note, my NTL account all gets shut down on the 25th Feb which is tomorrow so me and my bro are downloading as much crap as possible just to send it out with a bang! ;-)
Currently have 2 lots of internet in this house, I have the new BT Yahoo ADSL and everyone else is on the NTL Cable stuff atm, BT works out about £27 a month for a 2Meg line and a 20GB cap per month, well theres no way in hell we will ever use 20GB a month....I don't even have that much space left on my hard drive.
I also got a free wireless modem router thing from BT but its got a crap firewall so when I have spare cash I will be replacing it with something more secure.

So I finished my Star Wars book that I had read before and I couldn't remember how it had ended which was really weird cos I think thats the 3rd time I've read it.
I really must pay more attention when reading ;-)

Another good thing is there has been talk of my fav character in the newer books, Jaina Solo on the message boards, it seems she's come out of weirdo phase, it didn't seem clear at the time when I was reading the last few books but all has been explained.....sometimes I just need a little stating of the obvious ;-)

This is the 2nd cold in a month! I'm not usualy one for colds either, I think I need to eat more oranges or something.

It's snowing outside, well when I say snowing its hardly winter olympic snow standard so I won't be able to dig out my tea tray and go sliding down some hills in the near future.

Been toying with the idea of changing the template of this blog as its all a bit black LOL but can't find no decent templates that I like and the ones supplied on this blogspot thingie I'm not keen on.....so watch this space everything might change or go tits up.

I'm off back to bed now that I'm all drugged up on paracetamol and vicks vapour rub, I might move onto harder drugs later like Sudafed or Lemsip Max Strength, waiting for more Lucozade to arrive cos if ure sick you must have Lucozade!!!

For those that want to know.....no sign of the mouse, so god knows what happened there, I've asked the cat but she reckons she hasn't seen it.

Well that's not technicaly true.....more like I heard a mouse!......in the skirting board of my room! scrabbling at 5.30am!

There are 2 theories to the mouse being there:

1. It came in by its own accord and set up home within the walls of the house.
2. It was brought in alive by one of my idiot cats......probably Tricky! and then was let go and it somehow made its way behind the skirting board.

I'm going with theory 2!!!

To cut a long story short, last time I heard the mouse it was somewhere behind my chest of drawers, today it was somewhere behind my pc but when I go to look the scrabbling stops and there is nothing behind my pc so the bastard thing is definatley in the wall somewhere!

Haven't heard the bloody thing for a while so I thought maybe its come out of its hiding place and been caught and got rid of by Tricky and friends!

So I'm up......its currently 5.49am!

Looking forward to my 3 days off! only have to go in today and then thats it til next Monday.

Got the moving room plans to continue with, have started painting and got more of it on me than on the ceiling or walls.
My new bed has arrived, its bloody huge! got to re-think where I'm going to put everything when I move in.

What I'm really looking forward to is going to see the mighty Darkness on Wednesday night!

Oh and I'm about to order my new broadband from BT as there isn't much else to do at this time of the morning appart from make a cup of tea which is next on the agenda......and shoot the cat for not killing the mouse outright in the first place!

Been feeling shitty yesterday and today :-(

Better today than yesterday though but my throat is still hurting.

Could possibly be the fact that I had to re-seat everything inside my computer on Sunday night as it wasn't working and I blew loads of dust out of it which went all over the place. (computer is atleast working again!)

Still.....good news on the 'big grand plan' front.....had a phone call from the bed company today my new bed will be arriving on Friday YAY! :-) although not gonna put it up til next week sometime.

Chosen paint, from Homebase's own range the colours are called "Poppy" and "Mango" well basicaly they're red and orange! ;-) still......will atleast look cool when I've done it if not a bit in your face!

Carpet is an issue, no idea what to get.

All bedding is coming from my good friend Ikea

And of course it might all still go tits up cos I dunno what way round I want things, where is Linda Barker when you need her?! probably making more fucking Currys adverts!

NTHell is all cancelled! as of 25th Feb I won't be paying anymore for silly TV channels no one wants, phone and internet also going but I'm going over to BT Yahoo ADSL as can't possibly live without net access otherwise my life might stop!

So yea.....still no sign of being back at hockey, had physio last Friday, bruise isn't as big this week ;-) neither was the bill!!!

Spent wages already in bills, car tax and moving room plans.

All I can say is thank god for credit cards with 0% balance transfers for 12 months!

You can do car tax online now, how clever is that! all cos I got one of them new style MOT's where its all computerized, did the 6 months option cos I think by July I will have enough cash to do 12 months again.
£93.50 for the privalage of traveling on Britains roads for 6 months.....which if they're anything to go by in Oxford then they're shite! either that or they're being re-surfaced for the 10 millionth time this year.

Help! I'm having an out of money experience.

January is a 7 week month!

Its a total bastard and I hate it!

Needless to say I'm skint!

Had big grand plans for swapping rooms with my mum cos as she said 'you have more stuff than me' but if I swap I wanna be painting the walls, getting a new carpet and bigger bed and then its move all the PC stuff and TV, and dvd and freeview box and video......and wires and more wires and surround sound with yet more WIRES!

The task is making me tired just thinking about it!

Gonna cancel my NTHell Phone, TV and Internet cos basicaly no one watches the few crappy channels we get thru the TV, the phone is a waste of time only had it cos I used to have their free dial up and I think I'll go to ADSL not that I've ever had any probs at all with they're cable modem service but I know if I cancel the others they'll only fuck up my internet cos they're clever like that and I can't be arsed to spend all year on the phone to them trying to sort it out.

To top it all, I've had a bit of a hockey injury for a few (well about 7!) months now and it got to the point where I really couldn't play anymore cos my leg just bloody hurt so decided in my skint-ness that I should get some physio.......now I could've gone and got some NHS for free but I would still be waiting for that this time next year by which time anything could've happened....it might get better or my leg might fall off etc
So I go and see this blokie who was very good but I have the biggest buggering bruise on my leg now where he did stuff to it and I'm going back this friday for the privlage of paying yet more skint-ness cash to have my leg bruised again.
But.....it did seem a little better after he'd done stuff to it and also I now know exactly what I've done to it.

So no hockey, no training......can cycle to work which is a bonus cos atleast I won't be totaly unfit if I get back to playing this season.

In my skint-ness I've had to cancel my plans of going to Sweden to see The Darkness as just can't justify spending the amount of cash it would take to get over there and back and stay the night BUGGER!!!

But on a lighter note I have my tix thru for the London gig on 8th Feb and Birmingham gig on 19th Feb so looking forward to them.....will have been paid by then! THANK FUCK FOR THAT!

Gonna take a few days off in Feb partly due to the gig on the 8th but also my 'big grand plan' scheme is hopefuly gonna take shape, ie: buy paint, carpet and bed....move in other room and the rest will follow *fingers crossed* of course I've actualy done a list of stuff and sort of priced it up but you can bet your life with my maths it will be well out!

And SHIT! its car tax end of this month and bloody car insurance is up at the start of March!

And I scuffed one of my front alloys the other night! GUTTED! had them nearly a year without scuffing them on curbs and stuff then I go drive into a curb out in the sticks visiting a mate, it was bloody pitch black cos they don't have no street lighting out in the country, no idea if they even have mains electric just fucking annoyed that someone put a curb there!

Hangover city! well this morning anyway, bit lucky really, got away with just a bit of a bad head.

Started off on beer at about 4.30ish, then went onto Smirnoff ice, had some (lots) red wine at the resturant, then onto beer again, then onto sloe gin and lemonade then a cocktail of some sorts, ended up back home at about 2am this morning all a bit dazed and confused.

So Spurs on the telly now, I will sit back and enjoy the footie with a couple of beers.

Can do the shooting bit but am so shit at flying any type of vehicle that I skip them bits!

Went circuit training last night, had to do something cos haven't done much, hockey training starts again next week but I'm playing for the 2nd's this weekend cos they have a league game they wanna try and win so I'm gonna go and try and score some goals for them :-)

Went to the pub after work and got bored of beer so drank Smirnoff & RedBull instead!

So anyway, just watched a programme on sharks, I dunno what it is about sharks but they're well cool, I wouldn't want to be swimming with the buggers though.
They scare the shit out of me really but when its someone else swimming with them its fine ;-)
This guy was swimming with some Tiger sharks which are pretty lairy apprently, once saw a good programme about the Great White, these poor sods get so much bad press cos of Speilburg!

I survived the Christmas Hockey night out!

Which is more than I can say for some ppls!

Lots of drink mixing, lots of drinking games and lots of tactical chunders!

I stayed safe on Becks beer all night, well apart from the last half hour when I had a couple of Sloe Gins and lemonade, and on the trip home even managed a burger from the shop thats open til 2.00am ;-)

But I'm safe......THANK GOD! cos after last year I was dreading it.

So now onto indoor hockey, haven't played since the start of this year so will have totaly forgotten a: How fast it is and b: What half the bloody rules are!

Todays the day of the great mince pie scam.....

The story goes like this:

In the weeks running up to Christmas at work we all try and make something or bring something in.
So usualy we end up with one of Frankies Xmas puds (which are LUSH!) Mr Pete brings in an Italian Panatonne (also LUSH!) The boss sometimes makes something.........and the bosses son........ said he'd make cheese straws once but his dad ended up buying them for him.

So anyway.....my first year (cos I've been there nearly 5 now) I made some mince pies....which were fine and then we all discovered this once monthly Farmers Market >;-) thats in town on the 1st Thursday of every month.

Now it has several bakers who bake fresh bread, cakes etc........they also do mince pies which look and taste remarkably HOME MADE!

To cut a long story short, it was farmers market last Thursday, I brought 12 mince pies and guesse where they're going today!
Add a bit of icing sugar, stick them in a big box, give them a bit of shake and by the time they've traveled to work in my ruck sack they look like I've made them! ;-)

Obviously by the end of today my boss will have found out and I will be looking at the wrong end of a P45 ;-) well maybe not quite that drastic but it would be a serious fall from grace LOL

So here's to the great mince pie scam!

First & foremost, let me tell you that I'm a huge fan of yours.

As my friend, you always seem to be there when needed.

The perfect post-work cocktail, a beer at the game, and you're even around in the holidays, hidden inside chocolates as you warm us when we're stuck in the midst of endless family gatherings.

However, lately I've been wondering about your intentions.
While I want to believe that you have my best interests at heart, I feel that your influence has led to some unwise consequences:

1. Phone calls: While I agree with you that communication is important, I question the suggestion that any conversation of substance or necessity takes place after 2 a.m.
Why would you make me call those ex-boyfriends/girlfriends when I know for a fact they do not want to hear from me during the day, let alone all hours of the night?

2.Eating: Now, you know I love a good meal, but why do you suggest that I eat a kebab, a butter chicken curry along with a sausage with cheese, onion and mustard (washed down with WINE & topped off with a Kit Kat after a few sweet chilli and sour cream red rock chips)?
I'm an eclectic eater, but I think you went too far this time.

3. Clumsiness: Unless you're subtly trying to tell me that I need to do more yoga to improve my balance, I see NO need to hammer the issue home by causing me to fall down.
It's completely unnecessary, and the black & blue marks that appear on my body mysteriously the next day are beyond me.
Similarly, it should never take me more than 45 seconds to get the front door key into the lock.

4. Furthermore: The hangovers have GOT to stop.
This is getting ridiculous. I know a little penance for our previous evening's debauchery may be in order, but the 3pm hangover immobility is completely unacceptable.
My entire day is shot. I ask that, if the proper precautions are taken (water, vitamin B, bread products, aspirin) prior to going to sleep/passing out face down on the kitchen floor with a bag of popcorn, the hangover should be minimal & in no way interfere with my daily activities.

Alcohol, I have enjoyed our friendship for some years now & would like to ensure that we remain on good terms.
You've been the invoker of great stories, the provocation for much laughter, and the needed companion when I just don't know what to do with the extra money in my pockets.

In order to continue this friendship, I ask that you carefully review my grievances above & address them immediately.

I will look for an answer no later than Thursday 3pm (pre-happy hour) on your possible solutions & hopefully we can continue this fruitful partnership.

Friday night started off the same as most, bottle of wine, watch tv, crash out.

Saturday......shopping, bottle of wine, watch a dvd (Empire Strikes Back to be precise) crash out.

Yesterday......shopping for a modem for my mate Mr Pete (Hello Mr Pete if you're reading this with your shiney new broadband connection) .......go fit the modem (well I just watched).......got home.....drove to London.....saw Madness in concert....drove home.

So result....... KNACKERED now and its Monday again!

I'm already an alcoholic according to some ppls!

So why not a blogaholic also, and a Darknessaholic, I used to be a Roxaholic but I think I have that under control now! .....well that was until I read the news yesterday about them in London and then spent the rest of the day jumping around the office.....yes if I'dve known I would have made the short 60miles trip to London! FREAKY!.....and there was me thinking I was cured.

Its that early morning blog again, 7.36am, cat on lap, cup of tea and a crumpter with butter on. (well not butter cos thats bad for you but whatever we have thats supposed to resemble it)

What can I find thats intresting to write about at this time of the morning? well nothing in particular just thought I'd blog for the sake of blogging which is sad ;-)

Sat here last night thinking it was Thursday evening, was pretty disapointed when I realized that it was actualy only Wednesday!

its 7.36am, I need to leave for work at roughly 8am-ish and I'm not even dressed!

I've actualy done some christmas shopping....its a miracle! well actualy its cos I got paid yesterday, gone out and spent all me money.

What is it about Friday? I get to 4.30pm and suddenly nothing matters anymore, don't care how much money I've spent, don't have to worry about getting up, doesn't matter if I haven't made my packed lunch for work in the morning.........

So anyway, the counrty is englulfed by the massive amount of 2" (approx 4cms) of snow and has come to a stand still it seems, well no snow here!! Threatens it on weather.co.uk but its all bollox really! we don't get any and if we did it would be here until it rained about 10 mins after it had snowed.

I say this, now it will probably snow tonight and call our game off tomorrow, not such a bad idea, tis chuffin freezin but atleast I got my cool new hockey gloves to stop my hands from falling off.

Tricky Vee is being all lovey dovey, shes sat here while I'm typing this, can probably read the bloody screen and will kill me later with a swipe of the evil paw! I caught her on the PC earlier looking at porn....well she told me she was looking at pussy's! what was I supposed to think?!?!

Tricky Vee is being a complete bitch tonight, she's a total pretend best friend, currently sat under my desk but who knows what might happen in the next 5 minutes when she has a stressy and slaps me round the face again!

The plumber didn't turn up, neither did his son! Bloody pain in the arse, means I've got The Darkness flowing everywhere and I just can't stop it!

Anyway, had a mad moment this morning, was looking at The Foo Fighters web site and saw that they were playing Stockholm Globen which I found amusing cos I love that place, so I click on the 'Find Tickets Link' for a laugh and I find that the Darkness are playing there in March next year! Well sod the Foo's (gonna see them in Dec anyway) I'm gonna get me a couple of tix for the D!

Ryanair are doing cheap flights, could spend a night in the Quality Inn at the Globen, go see the D, have a look round Stockholm the next day and get the 5pm flight back SORTED!!

Well I spent all afternoon listening to Radio 1 which is painful, but it was worth it cos they played 'Knockers' by the mighty D!

Still listening to Radio 1 as apparently they're gonna play another new track on the Scott Mills show although I might have missed it on my way home from work,or it may just be a load of bollox, its an endless amount of crap being played at the moment.

So anyway, 'Knockers' is very 'I Want To Break Free'ish I would even go as far as saying that I think they stole the opening bit ;-) but hey atleast its been stolen from Queen who are the greatest rock band that ever was!

Its Saturday and I'm up early, there is a reason!

Playing hockey at 11.30am gotta meet at 9.45 to get there. It's fcukin freezin outside!
To top this all the special little hockey gloves I ordered didn't turn up yesterday after I paid £7.50 for next day courior delivery! Apprently they were missorted at the depot, I won't mention the name of the company but whatever you do don't use Intial City Link to send parcels ;-)

So as a result of that cock up, i will now be completely useless instead of just useless as my hands will probably shrivel and drop off.......this is assuming of course that the game will be on anyway.

Found the other latest Darkness b-side 'Grief Hammer' its what they opened last years shows with, bloody ROCKS!
Also heard a few snippets of the new album, had to sift thru all the whinging and whining on a couple of Darkness forums about how its not what they thought it might be blah di blah, personaly I think the trax are cool, snippets never give a true reflection of what things are, I can remember ruining a couple of Roxette albums by listening to snippets ;-)

Ok so the b-side is entitled 'Wanker' but you have to be actualy listening really hard to a: hear them sing wanker and b: hear them sing bastard.
You have to be listening really really really hard to the bit in 'One Way Ticket' where Justin sings 'stick it up your fucking nose' <---- I bet not many ppls will figure it out, and they cut it from the chuffin radio edit anyway ;-)

Do you know what......its fcuking cold! well not as cold as some places but still cold!

Froze me arse off on the bike today, gloves, hat and duvet coat made its 1st appreance of the season.

Why is it so hard to get up on a work day?

Anyway, good weekend all round (appart from the hockey) went to pub saw Owens 2 goals, laughed alot and drank some beer, played The Darkness on the video jukebox, drank some more beer.

So I sat last night and watched tv, only cos there was a programme on called '50 Greatest Goals Scored Against Manchester Utd' very good viewing!

Anyway, hockey later, playing top of the table team COME ON!! I haven't scored a goal yet this season i'm getting a bit of a complex about it!

Watch this space!! there won't be any update until tomorrow evening (13/11/05) as I'm not sad ebough to spend my saturday evening sat indoors on the PC (any other night is ok!)

Weekend plan:

Saturday: Get up (no really thats where it all starts!) , play hockey, drive to John's, meet up with F&F, go to the pub, go for a curry, sleep.

So anyway....I'm watching 'The Bourne Identity' (seen it before) on ITV1.....doesn't it piss you off that a: they have adverts every 5 secounds and b: they stick the news in at 10.30pm on every film.....cos by the time the news has finsihed i'm either too pissed to remember what film it was or asleep!
